Yes, any competition is good. I’d love to see Linux around as well.

I think they only considered legitimate copies of software in the stats but it’s interesting you mentioned Hong Kong because I did a little research and by the latest e-Readiness rankings Japan is rated 18th while Hong Kong is rated 4th:

Great news Ain. I am not sure how it is in Japan, but I know that in Hong Kong it is almost impossible to by legal copies of games. Pirate copies are sold in high street shop for as little as $1.50. At least thats how much I got one for a few years back.

I guess the increased use of the internet over games may also account for this.
