After quite some time in development, website of Boutique Caprice, jewellery retail store in Tallinn, Estonia, has been launched and is now available in 3 languages: Estonian, Russian and English.
The site features Flashbit’s backbone3 content management system and fully customised component framework (scrollbars, image controls and menus).
With backbone3 all the text, news and image items, including banners, can be added, activated/deactivated, modified and removed. bb3 is capable of working with high-quality print material in various formats, e.g. JPEG, TIFF and EPS.
Both the site and bb3 are built on the Flash 8 platform with PHPObject Flash remoting. Many of the ActionScript 2 snippets released on this blog earlier have been taken off its development.
Boutique Caprice is the exclusive retailer of H.Stern jewels in Estonia and also represents brands like Vivienne Westwood, Gucci, Versace, Schoeffel etc.

Bizarre man. If you go to and the detail page of any brand you get a misleading underline under the brand name. Most of the brands have nothing to click except the url but Stern comes up with some minute squares on the left. Most people would not pay attention but if you click them you get a bigger picture. And you can move the little squares about. WOW!! This is…inscrutable…I think is the word. You can buy off the shelf flash sites which would give a far better presentation of the non-existent content. Your phrase “after some time in development” suggests something more intricate and elaborate. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Thanks for the crits. It has been noted.
Many of site’s content is still to be populated, that also includes images awaiting selection. Little squares represent the fact that the amount of images is not limited and the site is very likely to hit a high number of them. Which is also the reason of stacking and capability to move them about.
I believe there are no off-the-shelf Flash sites capable of working with print-quality images, content population or eCom.

I have tried with new release of the Drupal. It is in truth really good. The admin panel is like to wordpress. And some more such functionalities are added.
