thanks for a nice and short overview of the new features and links to the extensions.The memory leak sucks big time though.

Despite what Apple claims about the speed of Safari 5 compared to Chrome – the Internet is littered with upset Mac users who noticed that after they upgraded to 5, Safari was actually slower than the previous version (4) and Chrome. This has been my experience, and its reflected by the number of complaints in Apple’s support forums as well. Its really been quite a disappointment so far – hopefully Apple fixes it.
